NHL playoff games last season in that same arena - now that's a different story. Drunks spilling beer all over the place, some were stealing the commemorative t-shirts off other fans seats, etc.
LOL maybe you live in a better area than me then, cause the last concert I went to there were fist fights breaking out left & right,
people throwing up from too much alcohol & lots of trashy people in the crowd.
I swore off concerts at that point.
Maybe when I'm in a better state I'll do a good live show again......

Was it a country show or "redneck" rock like Skynyrd or Kid Rock? The last two big concerts I went to (Clapton and The Who) people acted in an upstanding way but the ticket prices were fairly high so maybe that filtered out people who just want to go to events to cause trouble.

Also, how much more likely would you be to go if the show is on a Friday or Saturday night or does it not really matter all that much?
I just added two extra choices for those getting in late.

updated list... and Dav koZ is still alive and well and touring
Yes has 3 pretty much "original" members plus Downes who was with them in the 80's
For the person who wanted to know what Steely Dan sounds like in person...

Steely Dan - Kid Charlemagne (Live) - YouTube
My apologies. It was Dave Brubeck I was thinking of. Aggghhhh! I'm squirrel bait, lately.

I bet Mr. Koz is happy to hear he's not dead, too.

I don't think we share the same taste in music or comedy. I would love to go to a Who concert, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan. Dane Cook or Bill Burr would be my choice of comedians. Doesn't make any difference on the day of the week.

Dane Cook is right funny, but I don't think he's touring this summer (?)

Keith Urban ranks close to the top of my list of artists/bands I have never seen but really want to. He is coming to my area August 8. Tickets go on pre-sale Thursday morning and I was notified by email that this is expected to sellout. I really hope I can score some good tickets as large venues are not really my thing.
