I hear you about the idiots, but I've noticed as our generation is now more grown up, people have stopped falling down drunk and throwing up all over the place at concerts lately. I went to see Clapton last week in a sold out arena of about 18,000 and didn't see anything of even the smallest cause for concern. That sure is a switch from back in the day. NHL playoff games last season in that same arena - now that's a different story. Drunks spilling beer all over the place, some were stealing the commemorative t-shirts off other fans seats, etc.
LOL maybe you live in a better area than me then, cause the last concert I went to there were fist fights breaking out left & right,
people throwing up from too much alcohol & lots of trashy people in the crowd.
I swore off concerts at that point.
Maybe when I'm in a better state I'll do a good live show again......

Was it a country show or "redneck" rock like Skynyrd or Kid Rock? The last two big concerts I went to (Clapton and The Who) people acted in an upstanding way but the ticket prices were fairly high so maybe that filtered out people who just want to go to events to cause trouble.
If you had to pick a few off this list, who would you absolutely NOT miss??

I don't think we share the same taste in music or comedy. I would love to go to a Who concert, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan. Dane Cook or Bill Burr would be my choice of comedians. Doesn't make any difference on the day of the week.
Keith Urban ranks close to the top of my list of artists/bands I have never seen but really want to. He is coming to my area August 8. Tickets go on pre-sale Thursday morning and I was notified by email that this is expected to sellout. I really hope I can score some good tickets as large venues are not really my thing.
