There is no synopsis available, so I borrowed this from the only review on imdb.com where it enjoys a 7.8*/10 rating:

Basically a story about some polish kids on summer vacation in the countryside. The story mainly follows Edek, an 11 year old buy who starts hanging out with the intriguing and flirting next door girl Monika, and how their friendship/relationship evolves. Edek is a simple boy, while Monika is the total opposite, boasting a different sophisticated lifestyle.
My favourite "Dead" film of the franchise; Campbell's screen presence was immense from start to finish. I especially enjoyed him getting tooled up in the shed with shotguns& chainsaws; and saying "Groovy!!"
In an idyllic working class community, 13 year old Anka grows up, going through stages of adolescence, dreaming, first love and gossiping with girlfriends. Roughly disturbed by the shame and disgrace of alcoholism - leaves unwashable stains upon the community, that tries to cope with abuse and depression, and the system (including school teachers) who try to avoid the subject. This story was aimed at parents, to give them morally an insight into what happens when a young girl has to deal with the disgrace of an alcoholic father and a mentally instable mother. Very well acted by Grazyna Michalska as Anka. [translated from Polish by ALIPTES]
Oh, it was SO good, and moving, and sad, and creative and unique!
I really love the work of South African director Neill Blomqkamp, his work is just amazing. Well, I've never seen Elysium, so it would be more accurate to say that I've loved District 9 and Chappie.
Watched "Raising Arizona" for the umpteenth time...
Almost as funny this time as the first...Nick Cage was so good...hard to watch him in some recent films...
Location: West Los Angeles and Rancho Palos Verdes
