"Race"---Sedakis was decent...some scenes pretty stereotypical....actor playing Owens I thought was athletic enough to be plausible
it could have gone into Owens's life after Olympics--not just honors he got/didn't get, but also fact he had no decent job--maybe he didn't graduate from Ohio--didn't check Wiki---but looks like if Ohio State could have given his father a job as janitor the university could have found something for Owens himself...
So wishing the book "Boys in the Boat" would be finally made into movie...
Awesome book that captures so much of the era...
Got a hit where someone compared "Race" with "Chariots of Fire"--the second in way better in every way...
I thought "Race" was more on par with "MacFarland USA"...with Costner about high school track team and ethnic community
