I watched "Tracks," a 2013 movie starring Mia Wasikowska and Adam Driver. The movie is about Robyn Davidson a young woman who decided to walk 1,700 miles from Alice Springs, Australia to the Indian Ocean with her dog and four camels.

Her journey, which took place in 1977, was chronicled by National Geographic.

I thought it was interesting and worth watching. There's a slow pace at times, but it's definitively fitting, considering the subject.

The movie is on Netflix.

Furious 7. First time seeing it since it was in theatres. Every bit as good as I remember.

For DIE, SPY! Tuesday.....

When Eight Bells Toll (1971) - IMDb

As movies made from Alistair MacLean books go, it's pretty decent, but as a serious spy movie, it is shaky at points. It's decently cast, everyone can act (unlike Puppet on a Chain), the title music is okay if a little over the top.

Of course, especially with MacLean, the book was far, far better.

A Coffee in Berlin (2012)
Quote:
This tragicomedy is a self-ironic portrait of a young man who drops out of university and ends up wandering the streets of the city he lives: Berlin. The film deals with the desire to participate in life and the difficulty to find one's place.
If you're into or in the mood for something quirky, this'll work
