The Words, I did a bit of nodding off though much of this, but, quite a heart breaking movie. One minute it felt like you were going to reach a peak suddenly it fizzles. Dennis Quaid's narrations gratted on me. Way more depressing than I expected.

We just watched Wanderlust, with Jennifer Anniston and Paul Rudd. Other than the fact that every brunette in the movie had the same, overly black, hair dye, it was entertaining.

Mama.... Scary in the beginning, but cheesy in the end.
Safe haven....it was sweet.

I knew for a fact "The Internship" was going to suck, but I gave it shot anyway just because I like Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson. I was correct in my assumption as it was easily the worst movie I have seen in the theater this year. Not only was it a bad movie, it was really bad representation of Google.

My wife and I recently watched a few older movies on Amazon Prime:

"The Cabin in the Woods": Interesting but the ending was weak. 7/10.
"More than Blue": Slow but moving movie. 8/10.
"Rainbow Eyes": The ending kept us guessing all the way to the end. 9/10.

Oh, boo...it's not coming to the U.S. 'til September of 2013. Thanks for the heads up. Will have to keep an eye out for it in the fall.

Watched The Purge. Although there is one thing that makes no sense to me. Maybe I am selfish, but if everything was legal for a night the last thing I would do is kill people. I'd spend all year planning how to Purge the banks of $100M, execute the plan on Purge day and then relax. :P. Ok $10M would suffice.

Chasing Mavericks - B+. Very enjoyable movie about a 15-year-old surfer and how his mentor (Gerard Butler) trains him to be able to handle the biggest waves around (the Mavericks).

A Late Quartet - A. What a cast. 1st violin Mark Ivanir (wonderful), 2nd violin Philip Seymour Hoffman (another actor probably could do better, but still a decent performance), viola Catherine Keener (very touching), and cello Christopher Walken (extraordinary). Strong script too - my favorite scene is Walken teaching his music class about his encounter with Pablo Casals. Why is this only 6.9 on imdb?

The Oranges - C-. Who would have thought Hugh Laurie could play someone with absolutely no personality? He's better than the rest of the cast though, who are actively dislikable. I only got through the first 40 minutes; it was a truly terrible script.
