I saw Captain America the other night. It was crazy. Not really in a good or bad way.

7/10

Nowhere Boy. Substance phewey, don't need that. Okay, it was well worth the watch, even if I just wanted to see some crazy early, Lennon, childhood antics.

Burlesque, now that's more like it, less meaty. I would have like more, musical numbers, but a few make you want to get up and dance numbers filled in the movie adequately. Christina and her pipes didn't disappoint. I'm really happy this wasn't a movie where the story lines were sung, very few movies pull that off for my taste.

I saw "The Ninth Gate" at home yesterday and goodness me what a piece of garbage that film was ! What were Frank Langella and Johnny Depp thinking ??? I could not believe how bad it was, the hackneyed cliches, and the badly written script and plot. Dull as ditch water.

I also saw "Silverado" which I actually quite enjoyed. Not the greatest Western ever made but good enjoyable fun and I could watch Kevin Kline in almost anything ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VACFLuni49c

I just watched The Godfather again last night. What a great movie. It's 38 years old now, but just as good as the first time.

The last movie I've watched is Vanishing on 7th Street. It was a decent movie, but nothing spectacular. It had an interesting plot though.

Hobo With a Shotgun. It was far better than I had anticipated. The movie stuck to its grindhouse roots by not skimping on the sleaze and shock, which is a good thing.

Before that, I watched Insidious and Black Swan. Insidious was way disappointing, and Black Swan was mostly a snooze fest.

Oops, I forgot I had watched Unstoppable just a few days ago. What a great movie, and definitely one of my favorites in a long time.

I also watched Soul Surfer last night. Good movie, especially for a more 'family' movie.
