My husband and I have been trading off who picks a movie. Tonight was his choice and he picked The Vast of Night because he had heard good things about it. It's on Amazon Prime and it's like a play on The Twilight Zone. The movie was slow, and weird. Some people really like it though, and the rest feel like I do. It's a TON of dialogue and not much else.

The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958) Kerwin Mathews Kathryn Grant

Another classic from Ray Harryhausen's legendary monster series.

This movie was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being culturally, historically or aesthetically significant.

"Trumbo" on Netflix, with Bryan Cranston as Dalton Trumbo, a screenplay writer blacklisted in the 1950s. It was pretty interesting....didn't realize how long it all went on. Kind of reminds me of modern times.

Denial (2016)

Rachel Weisz, Tom Wilkinson, Timothy Spall

Based on a true story. British Holocaust denier David Irving sues American historian Deborah Lipstadt, challenging her to prove that the Holocaust actually happened. It was pretty interesting to see how her legal team developed their strategy.

Trading Places (1983)

Ford v Ferrari (2019) I did not know the story before I watched it, so there were shocking/sad moments. Excellent movie.

First I will start with "Glass". It was one of the worst movies I've seen Bruce Willis in. The story line just dragged along, and bored the heck out of me. I guess I'm not used to him being in that kind of movie.
Now I find out this was last film in a trilogy. IMHO that doesn't matter. The movie was a bomb.

Unbreakable (2000) <-- I never seen it.
Split (2016) <-- Seen a bit of it.
Glass (2019) <-- Just watched.

Now "Shazam!" is a different story. I tend to like most, not all comic book movies. This one tends to
fall somewhere in the middle. The best description of this movie is Big (1988) meets Kazaam (1996) with
a touch of Sky High (2005). You got kids needing a path in life (Big), with a little help (Kazaam) and guidance (Sky High). It's not one of those over the top blockbusters. But it is a nice time killer. Heck if has the guy that played Chuck (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuck_%28TV_series%29) as the main superhero.
Yes, I had seen Unbreakable and enjoyed it (so much so I bought the dvd) but after reading the reviews for Split and Glass I had no interest in the rest of the trilogy.
