Fairly decent spaghetti western to pass the time while one is living semi primitive style. Kill Bill lifted some of its music....or they got it from the same place. A 7.0.
Last week we watched "the Fugitive" , then "US Marshalls" both entertaining to watch.
Over the weekend we watched "Armageddon" , cheesy but still entertaining. And then "the Heat", which is hilarious. Mellissa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock play off each other so well.
Rewatched The Milagro Beanfield War yesterday after many years. I liked it better second time around. Still prefer the book but the movie is pretty good considering it had to be cut way down due to multiple plots and storylines in the book. The cinematography is stunning and the characters are endearing.
Saucy villains and their henchmen, warriors who have mysteries from each other, armies to die at one's commands, traitors who meet their just rewards, and a delectable method or two of meeting one's maker, what's not to love? Oh, it's not perfect but it is a decent getaway but as the clock ticks down, one wonders if all questions will be answered in the end. A 6.5.
If you are expecting a spy flick of some action, it's not that. It is more a history of an operation being told by the undercover and his control. Once I allowed my mind to switch to that method of thinking, having once been a Spook made it helpful, the movie became more interesting. A 7.6 if you can get into it.
