Yep, that is the one. The movie ends with them together, 80 years old, with the carousel box filled with candy. Great movie!

The movie was great but both of them were ****s, to each other and to others, especially their spouses later in life

I actually think they killed themselves when they got in the hole and let the cement bury them. I think them as old people was something for people to imagine. Like what would their life had been like if they had been alive and grew old together. We were trying to figure out the very end.

Yes, I agree with you. I was also confused somewhat as to the ending, but finally I thought they had decided to drown in the cement, changed their minds and lived happily ever after - I guess I base that on the "cementy/wet type footprints leading out of the vat of cement, and the final scene where she is sharing candy with him.

Must add the movie we just watched tonight (LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Netflix instant view LOL)

District B13.. French film by Luc Besson... Highly recommend it if you are looking for pure entertainment, good fights and chase scenes.

Luc Besson really does have some of the best films (5th Element, Face/Off, Transporters, and the best french film ever La Femme Nikita, etc)..

If you love French movies I woud strongly recommend "Heartbeat Detector", I saw it at the cinema about 3 months ago and it was fantastic and with a very powerful message about the dehumanising modern work environment.

Superb acting with Michael Lonsdale at the helm, a very deep, intelligent and poignant movie. Does not pull any punches and is not an "easy" film but well worth it.

Infernal Affairs series from Hong Kong several years ago. Martin Scorcese made an American version of the movie called the "The Departed". The original HK movie series was better.
