Is io9 the journalistic equivalent of a 5th generation Maxell VHS tape that's been played in a 2-head VCR that's never been demagnetized?
io9.com is a "catch all" site for geekdom with commentary of varying quality.

In all defense, it looks like one with lack of solid plans set.

Trying hard to keep watching Spider-Man homecoming Wish the kid playing Spider man would shut up. Too much talking I thought we would be past how dumb he is by now.

I don't like Holland in the role. I guess he's going to be Parker for a while.

I know they wrote him this way but geesh shut up! I get that Spider-Man is a wise arse but this is too much. I feel like I'm watching Iron Spider with all the tech that Stark put into the suit. The supporting cast Michael Keaton, etc is sweet.

Ugh. IRON <anything> has overstayed its welcome. Iron Man has become the Fonzie of the Marvel Filmverse.

I agree, but Iron Spider's from the comics, too. First appearance was ASM #529 back in 2006.

Yeah, I know. But in the comics of that time, Iron Man was Tony Stark, not the Tony Snark of the movies.
