You'll never guess for which movie I last stood in a long line outside for.
Spoiler
The Exorcist III.
(But for some odd reason, no other theater in the whole valley was showing it, that's why.)
That's not a great movie, but it's not a bad movie. It's actually better than most people remember it --- and it has one of the all-time best jump-scares of any movie.
Ordered/paid for tickets to our reserved seats at The Alamo Cinema and Draft house on Friday. Looking forward to this.
The movie was practically sold out on Saturday and Sunday. The movie should do well if this week ends sales is any indication. Also, last of seeing Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia / General Organa, AFAIK, anyways. That, I will miss.

The theaters here don't indicate any showings beyond late December.
The Last Jedi doesn't seem to have the same energy built up around it that The Force Awakens had, so I doubt it will be even in the top 10 grossers of all time, though there's no question it will be a blockbuster.

It should do close to what TFA does, if only because Luke actually says something and is in more than the last 30 seconds of the movie.
Also, it’s the middle movie of the trilogy - less time on setup, more action, cliffhanger at the end. I’ll bet the reviews will be better than TFA too.

I doubt it will even have the highest domestic total this year!
