Most viewers had already settled on Huston being Ares, though. They'd even complained that Wonder Woman lassoing Huston in the trailer was a spoiler. The misdirection was sufficient.

I knew right away who Aries was don't see how anyone missed it.

Wonder Woman was great it's about time we had a strong female hero for women/girls way past due if you ask me. Like any of these types of movies it's easy to pick apart we got it on DVD haven't watched the extras on it yet. It's easily one of my favorite stand alone comic movies.

If I remember correctly, it is like an episode of the TV show Wonder Woman I saw in eighty's or ninety's.

Really? Which one? Where Steve Trevor's talking to the cardboard robot? LOL!

I thought it was much better than most super-hero films lately. Dialogue better than some, a little more humor than some. And I thought that Gadot was great, physically, for the part.

Still, of course, just a super-hero/comic book film, and not much to it.

That's true, it's the best superhero movie since The Dark Knight rises in my opinion.

OK--not great and certainly not good enough to build a series on but apparently production companies like Marvel will push their characters for all they are worth...

Yeah I don't know if I would say it's good enough to build a series on as I like it as one movie.

My daughter thought it was epic, me not so much, I thought it was OK, just enough so that I would give the next one a go if the trailer and reviews spark my interest. I liked the actress but much of the movie just didn't work for especially toward the end me.

I didn't like it. It has turned me off to Justice League at least first weekend. Might see it that Tuesday or the next one...
