Austin Powers movies...too dumb to be funny.
Agree about the Matrix.
Also, anything with that Borat guy.

Have you seen Battlefield Earth?

I'm pretty confident that there's not a single person on the planet who thinks that the movie outdid the book.

Neither were any good. Both the book and the movie are just too implausible to even begin to be believable.

Well, L Ron Hubbad wrote it. That explains a lot.

Yes, it does. Delusional describes him.

American Beauty. It's just really self-indulgent and contrived imo.
The Wolf of Wall Street.Pretty much the most overrated film last year.

I'm waking this thread up to say that I finally saw Frozen last night and I hated almost every minute of it.

My two daughters LOVE this movie. They are 13 and 16 and relate to the sister story in a way I don't understand. The plot was stupid, the characters made incomprehensible choices, there weren't enough good songs, and the animated women are sooooo unattractive with those strangely dented in noses. It reused some stupid fairy tale tropes and completely ignored some opportunities to come up with something new.

The voice talent was excellent and the animation of the frozen fractals of ice was cool (ha ha no pun intended). Other than that, I just don't get the hype. Can't believe anyone would think that was the best Disney movie since The Lion King.

Thank you for letting me vent. I couldn't tell my girls what I really thought about it.
