Did you see the Devils rejects? It's the sequel. Those two are definitly the most disturbed/creepiest ones I've seen.

If i'm thinking Old school (1974) i liked ''It's Alive'' about the deformed baby that killed everyone in the delivery room at the hospital then escaped and killed anyone it encountered except it wouldn't kill its normal family members.

At first it was Janet Leigh in "Psycho"...I still make sure I buy CLEAR SHOWER CURTAIN, when decorating my bathrooms! What does that say about it? Then, later on turning 17 in high school, I saw the blk/wht orig. movie "Night Of The Living Dead"....THAT scared me for years; because on the way home from the drive-in, the seat belt (unbeknownst to us) had fallen outside the drivers' door, and was BANGING, clacking knocking on the side of the car all the way home (on a dark, deserted Opdyke Rd) OMG!

Not necessarily the most scary but the most disturbing was "Cannibal Holocaust". A 1980 Italian film, somewhat of a cult classic and filmed in a similiar manner as "The Blair Witch Project".

Sort of a B movie, silly title, acting is not that great, meant as a simple expolitation film, but the total impact is really just disturbing and troubling, and the plot line is very effective. Supposedly banned in 50 countries and the director landed in jail because his home country thought it was a snuff film. Quinton Tarantino lists this as one of his favorite films.

The director did a cameo in "Hostel 2" as, fitting enough, a cannibal client.

"The Relic" (1997)
"The Mothman Prophecies" (2002)

and an old school film that was called Trilogy of Terror. (1975)
It was an movie with three totally different scary stories, starring actress Karen Black. The scariest ever, was the third story about an Zuni African Tribal doll that comes to life.

Not my favorite, but the most disturbing is Pet Sematary.

I don't recommend it to people, because it was rather disturbing and sad, and creepy.

There was a movie that I saw when I was just a little child. It was on the late late show.
It was called The Shuttered Room. It scared the heck out of me. I can not believe my mom let me watch it. lol.

I think it was made in the 60s. So I saw it early 70s.

Does anyone remember this movie?

Gig Young (I think that is his name) , Carol Lindley and Oliver Reed were part of the cast.

It's a good scarey one to see if you haven't yet seen it!
