Ha, I have not thought of that commercial for a long time. Sad news on that missing teacher, terrible how the family will have to continue to deal with this.
On a lighter note, I am going skiing this weekend up in Whitefish, wish me luck!

Good luck. Have you picked which bone(s) you are going to break? That would be me. Skiing is not the problem. I'm good at that. I just never mastered slowing down or stopping.

We have to go get a trailer today and several assorted items for the trailer. But we're going to go get it with the team and wagon. It's only 6 miles. The trailer we're going to pick up is a small trailer so we can throw it in the back of t he Oak wagon. Two different tongue's, some nuts and bolts, a hitch, etc... Supposed to be in the mid 40's today with no wind, so should be a good trip.

The team hasn't been harnessed for a while so it should be interesting the first mile or two. Will probably stress test the whoa feature a few times. They've been eating pretty good.

Edit - Coffee's on.

Default ...Whitney Houston Funeral....

.......well folks, this is a "first-for-me"................I never thought I would compose a post related to a Funeral Service that I watched on TV!!

However as I have aged, I have noticed that what did not effect me (emotionaly) 40, 50, 60 years ago........ now seems to trigger certain reactions that I would never have expected.

I am not a "music-type" person....I do appreciate however when a perfomer (singer) does an outstanding job....(such as Whitney Houston's rendition of our National Anthem at the 1991 Super Bowl).....if you have not heard this.....bring it up on the internet as I did today.......you will be impressed.

Anyway, I watched the Funeral Service today and I was impressed, proud and very "moved" by the way this service was handled. The variety of speakers, euolgists, performers and religious personnel "crossed-all-lines" of race, politics, status-in-life and professions..................IMHO this is the way a "Funeral-Type-Service" for a person highly acclaimed for 30 years should be handled........with dignity, respect, well plannned and directed to focus on the "inner-qualities" of the person.

R.I.P. Whitney Houston................................
