Yea I Agree, I kinda hope the city starts to push petitioning more like our suburbs do, it would create a good, passive population growth overtime

Even the city talking about it would probably trigger an incorporation effort. Best let it alone right now and be careful on next moves.

Meh I’m not worried about West Mobile incorporating anymore, they don’t have a strong enough tax base anymore and the city would be anchored by a singular Winn-Dixie and I don’t see too many more commercial developments going there due to a lack of flat, commercial land and proximity to Schillinger. The residents of that area also seem to make it clear they want to “live in the county” and not in a city

Well they updated the metropolitan areas, not only did we not gain Baldwin County, we somehow lost Washington County
