A record low temperature on one day in one location on Earth doesn't mean our planet isn't having one consecutive "hottest year on record" after another. 2019 has been the second-hottest year the Earth has ever seen in recorded history.

Climate change science needs to be a mandatory part of the curriculum in our schools, because clearly the tens of millions of people who are voting for climate change deniers, or think they're clever whenever they point out that it's cold, simply don't understand it.

Even if everyone died in America tomorrow (and I believe certain people on certain part of aisle would like that), it would have no effect on the world's carbon footprint, as China and India are vomiting carbon far more than America. And I have news for you: China and India will never be controlled by anyone outside their borders, whether you wish for a one-world government or not.

So...what is the point in indoctrinating children about it?

The US is #2 in total CO2 emissions. China is #1 and India is #3. Factor in China's and India's massive populations compared to the US(avg of over 4x the population compared to the US), we are destroying them in per capita CO2 emissions, which as you know is not a good thing.

Indoctrinating the kids? Yeah, it's called education. Another area the US is lacking as you know.

I really dislike discussing religion when talking about about a cold snap.
