You guys are better off traveling out tomorrow evening vs Wednesday. If it has to be Wednesday then wait until after 7pm. But there may be backups. At least you won't get stuck at the airport in a blizzard.

You'll be fine. Roads should be fine Thursday and there will be less snow the further north you go

According to the news the world might come to an end with this storm. You'd think we've never had one before.

Current map. For someone that follows weather daily I can say, this is impressive to see. 2 HUGE storms hitting the U.S.

Just started in southern MN this evening. Stay safe guys. I haven't checked latest forecasts for you guys but I did see 6-12" has fallen with this storm in Kansas and Nebraska. 24"+ in the CO mountains.

Just checked...

Forecast from NWS Twin Cities

Another storm starting Friday until Sunday, must be the current one in Cali. Should help with the fires going on in the northern part of the CA.

Mesoscale Discussion 2163
NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
0920 PM CST Tue Nov 26 2019

Areas affected...portions of Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin

Concerning...Heavy snow

Valid 270320Z - 270915Z

SUMMARY...Moderate to heavy snow is likely to continue and develop
across portions of southern, central, and northern Minnesota and
northwest Wisconsin. Snowfall rates of 1-2 inches per hour are
expected.

DISCUSSION...A strong surface cyclone continues to deepen over the
Midwest and the surface low is expected to continue track northeast
from northern Missouri through Iowa into Wisconsin. Isentropic lift
and frontogenesis with steep mid-level lapse rates will continue to
produce widespread moderate snowfall with locally heavy snowfall.
Snowfall will spread northeast from southern Minnesota toward Lake
Superior paralleling the track of the surface low to the south.
Snowfall rates of 1-2 inches per hour can be expected into the early
morning with local lake effect enhancements possible along the
western and southern shores of Lake Superior.

First flakes here came down just after 8. Did a couple things then looked back outside an hour later and everything was covered.

Shovels and snow blower are in position for deployment at daybreak.
