My first thought was "I bet they just took out a really good insurance policy when they bought it."

Looks like a beautiful home. How awful though, I can't even imagine to have bought a $3.2 mil house and the next day it's demolished by a fire. Wonder what the cause was (it seems many news articles never follow up to share that info, I'd be curious though).

It says the sold date was June 10th so not quite yesterday...but still pretty crazy. Fire in Nantucket over the weekend, fire in a house in newton over the weekend...seems like a bad time for fires.

Looks like they have a $2.1 mil mortgage for the purchase, however, not too shabby to be able to put $1mil plus down!

oops, I looked quick at first and saw the 10th and I was thinking it was yesterday since today is the 11th! Still, only having owned the home about a month and now it's gone

I know...it is very weird i have to say...but they have a brand new house by the looks of it. Usually people looking to burn something down would burn something old. I can't imagine they'd purposely set this house on fire but my mind goes to strange places sometimes, lol
