Eeeps, Christie wouldn't be a good risk either. But he's also a well-connected VIP, even if not on the Presidential level, so I expect he'll get better healthcare than the average Joe (even those of us with health insurance), that's for sure.

An anonymous source from the White House (described only as "a source familiar with the President's health") sent the following statement to members of the White House pool:

"The president’s vitals over the last 24 hours were very concerning and the next 48 hours will be critical in terms of his care. We’re still not on a clear path to a full recovery."

Jeez... I guess it's better than just taking a loss. As you and others pointed out, Newton may be the first, but not the last active player to be diagnosed over the next week...

The SC nomination announcement last Saturday appears to have been a super spreader event.

And the timeline with Trump is way off.

And my understanding is that athletes are at higher risk for heart problems. Strenuous exercise and COVID are not a good combination.

Source? Still havent seen you provide any credible one or even a well thought out hypothesis. Not trusting data doesn't count by the way.

Definitely gonna need a source here. Unless you finally admit to simply regurgitating headlines on yet to be proven studies.

The doctor is apparently now saying that he just meant that it's day 3 when he said 72 hours. Thursday, Friday, Saturday. I'm not sure I buy that. The doctor came across as shady, IMO.

And it was just announced that Trump did receive supplemental oxygen on Friday. The doctor had said he didn't.
