The other funny thing is there's plenty of products on the marketplace that aren't FDA or USDA approved. The supplement industry for the past 25 years has gotten away from actually being called medicine by going with herbals. So how can some earthy crunchy person be anti vaccine under this and yet at the same point use things that have NEVER been approved. I recall the late 1990's when products like andro stenodine and creatine were hyped. Don't even get me started about ginko, ginseng etc. There's complete isles of drug stores filled with these products.

IF that happens, I think you'll see just about everything require proof of vaccination by the end of the year.

Yesterday Fauci said he's hoping for full FDA approval within 2 weeks.

I just saw a segment on The Today Show about lots of fake vaccination cards being sold via social media.

Apparently, with over 700 colleges now requiring proof of full vaccination, they are being bought up by college students. They showed an advertisement on Instagram that read something like "Don't get the poisonous vaccine. Buy a vaccination card for $25".

Delta Variant Is Making Kids Sicker

Quote:
Data from studies are only just beginning to come in, but it appears that Delta may be infecting more children than previous variants, makes children sicker than other strains, and has a higher risk of long-term health problems.

Until recently it was commonly thought that children might not have been as severely impacted as adults by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The reality of the situation with the Delta variant is different

Quote:
Across the country, 15% of all COVID cases are now in children.

Quote:
A recent study evaluated children hospitalized for COVID, and found 44% needed intensive therapy, 17% were put on a ventilator, and 3% died.

Quote:
“Everybody is a little bit nervous about the possibility that the Delta variant could in fact be, in some way, more dangerous in kids,” said Dr. Richard Malley, a pediatric infectious disease specialist at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Another definitive sounding headline contradicted by the many conditional statements in the story.

RSV cases are most likely rising because we have interrupted the natural immunity cycle.

Pretty tough behind a keyboard. I doubt vax-heads (yes, we have a name for you folks as well) would say this to someone's face. You'd get knocked out.

You (and others here) need to think very carefully about making statements like this. You thought last summer's civil unrest was bad?

Uh. if you take federal programs or state you have to abide by the regulations of it. If you don't like it too bad. I'm fine with people that need programs and use them. I critique the program and not people on them. But yeah I have told this to peoples faces, hundreds if not thousands. No you don't get knocked out.

You want to drive a car you need a license and hopefully a car that has some inspection. You want to do business face to face and think that somehow you don't have to wear a mask and be vaccinated I don't know what to say. Summer unrest? You mean january 6th?

You don't have to *like* science. I don't always like brushing my teeth. It costs money but I also know without it I won't have them long and dentures can cost even more. I don't always like working out or eating right but I know pork rinds and watching tv is going to lead to obesity (and a worn couch!). When I went back to higher ed I looked up the MMR shot and was a tad concerned but it wasn't a big deal. I also worked with many elderly people. You just can't think about yourself all the time.

Really? They're not the ones threatening violence, you are.
