Good for you. Nothing for the coast.

Well maybe a little snow. While the local says 1-3 inches, the weather alert says more.

2 inches of nuisance snow in BH, Not even enough to have any fun. Of Course Caribou weather service teased us with 5-8 inch forecast at first like they always do, and then cut it back. Gotta encourage everybody to go out and buy bread, milk, and eggs(for waffles, I guess). They used to rent videos, but now its all on the internet. Watched the re-run of Sunday night's Black Sails. Wasn't that good compared to the first season. Actors know its the last and everyone seems tired of it.

Guess its time to start looking for a 2 hp Honda air cooled outboard for my dinghy since winter is not interested in joining us this year.

This is only an advisory if you live in Georgia, as far as I'm concerned. We shouldn't have advisories until the prediction is 6 inches. Something I can actually snow blow.

We havent gotten one storm of more than 5-6" this year. There is barely enough snow on the ground to cover it. Some spots in the woods are half bare. I've noticed after living here for 7 years now. The winter really changes every year and is never the same or even sorta similar. Some years the snow piles up and come so often it doesnt melt, other years it's january or february and grass is visible.

I would prefer 150" of snow a year, think we need to buy a place in the mountains...

Been a while since I posted here. Sorry. Been a lame winter down here. Warm but with normal snowfall (small events)

Snow depth as of yesterday morning. NW CT 4-6". Northern Maine with 20-30" of snow on ground.

NERFC Snow Page

Confirming Caribou has over 2 feet of snow on the ground. Wow! 82" for the season. Almost 2 feet Above normal.

We are supposed to normally get about 75-80 inches a year. I suppose that could still happen, but I think we might have 7 inches total so far. Beyond LAME. We got more snow last year in the total non-winter.
