Are any developers aiming to pick up this project?
They are already building this project out with different businesses from DR Offices, Restaurants, Hotels and a Upscale senior living Facility-Waterford.

A 4-story, mixed-use building on an estimated 107,000 square feet of property, the new building would be home to 95 luxury lofts with a gym and a rooftop deck for residents. The ground level would house two retail bays, nine individual executive offices, and one larger space for a retail/restaurant establishment.

This is great. I am glad that the Historic Society signed off on the demolition. The current building is ugly and contributes nothing to the area. Not all that is old is worth saving.
“It's a really big deal for downtown," Newtown Macon President Josh Rogers said. "It’s a massive investment first of all, which is really helpful. It will get two buildings that are now vacant occupied. It will give us a higher storefront occupancy, and everything downtown is fueled by the people who live here."
