Yes, this LA-centric, but so am I.

1. You use “the” before every road number.

2. You admit privately that you've never actually known anyone who surfs and snow skies on the same day.

3. You remember where you were when Gibson hit the home run.

4. You know which city was the first and only city to host the Summer Olympics and not lose money doing so, yet you don’t brag about it.

5. You know what a chili size is and which restaurants have them on the menu.

6. You know where a good hot dog can be found, and it isn’t Pink’s.

7. You’re vaguely aware of snow, but it’s something you have to drive an hour to experience up in the mountains.

8. The reason you don’t know how to drive in the rain is because it never rains, and you forget how to do so in between storms.

9. You learn how to swear in Mexican Spanish before you can in English.

10. You know what ancient restaurant in L.A. raised the price of a cup of coffee from 9 cents to 45 cents in 2012.

11. You assume everyone wears bathing suits and goes barefoot all Winter.

12. You know exactly what Raymond Chandler is referring to in the first paragraph of “Red Wind.”

13. When describing how to get from point A to point B, you use travel time rather than miles.

14. You are aware that the infamous brush fires and mudslides affect mainly people along the edges.

15. You also know what the edges are.

16. You have eaten an entire Oki Dog and lived to tell about it.

17. “Late night and early morning low clouds and fog along the coast…”

18. You’re still not accustomed to exit ramp numbers and street names in English.

19. You’d rather see your mother in a whorehouse than the Giants in the World Series.

20. Tommy’s and In-n-Out are in your DNA.

21. Carne asada fries, *******! Top that!

Guilty: 1, 2, 1/2 point on 5, 9, 13, 14, 15, 17.

Not guilty:
3 (I was 4),
4 (I was not yet 1),
6 (I'm fine with Wienerschnitzel),
7 (I went to find it),
8 (not a wuss),
10 (don't drink coffee),
11 (what?),
12 (you mean that guy here on the forum? ),
16 (¿que?),
18 (again, ¿que?),
19 (not a Dodgers fan, so I don't give a hoot if SF is in or not),
20 (absolutely not)
21 (too much for me to handle, but they can be found here too )

You know what a "Sigalert" is.

You build your life around LA's traffic congestion.

You wear flip flops almost year around.

You use the word "like" in front of almost every word. "Like, that's cool!"

Like that's more of like an age-related like thing like.

23. You seldom pay attention to anything below a 5.4.

I am issuing a protest on No. 2.

I surfed and snow skied on the same day and I'm a seventh generation Angeleno!

you know your a true southern Californian if you remember that orange trees grew in abundance along the five freeway in orange county.
Oh, I remember the wonderful aroma of those fabulous groves.
Also you remember when Knotts Berry farm was just that, a farm.
Bob.
