Suspended? She belongs in jail. She's destroyed the lives of those other students. Whether they're exonerated and found to be completely innocent or not, this will follow them for the rest of their lives.
this is even more of an issue these days. Every time these guys apply for a job or whatever...a 2 second google search will pull up all of the stories surrounding this. At least the same will be true for her now that her name has been made public.
So let me get this str8...They just reported that she wasnt even drunk AND had a "boyfriend"?! And she only started telling the truth AFTER the investigators told her that there was a cell phone recording of the encounter?
You've gotta be kidding me...this broad is laughable and she should be locked up in a male penitentiary.
NYC2RDU "The boys involved may not have committed any crimes but at the same time I still consider her a victim if only of her own poor judgement." and michael vick was a victim of only his poor judgement...and so was bernard madoff, and osama bin laden jen919ifer "I think she may have been threatened. Who would make this story public then take it back? A stripper OK I might believe it, but a Hofstra student, I can't believe it." strippers cant be hofstra students? or columbia, harvard, yale????
also i would like to say, if i was totally intoxicated, unable to make my own decisions, and my friends decide to think its funny to make me do something illegal, does it mean im clear, its all their fault? no we would all be responsable, alchol is not an aliby
also what if they didnt even get her drunk, and she volentarily did. they are the bad guys, so i should get wasted, and everyone should walk on egg shells around me, cuz anything that happens is their fault
The girl involved needs to be charged with falsely reporting a crime. It's only fair. She also needs counselling. Big time.
As for the boys, while they may be thought of as technically innocent of rape and got off this time, if they continue such behavior sooner or later they may end up in trouble if they act with such little regard for their own self-preservation and reputations.
They need to learn some self-control. Just because some drunk girl is "giving it up" does not mean they have to take her up on the offer.
but if the didnt, there would be a news story about how 4 gay guys turned down easy psy
