I think most of us on this forum passed the drug test and the background check and we're all waiting for the offer.

Oh, (you all) mean the new hotel? I already done this like three times

A friend of mine also got a call for an extended job offer to come in next week. She is not sure what that meant. I'm assuming it is the job offer/paperwork. I think it was for the counting clerk position. She said they are hiring only like 20-30 in her dept. Starting pay is like 13$ and change more than what she makes now at another casino. She is not sure if she will take it depending on what hours. I told her to just take it and she can change her mind later. It is a once and a life time opportunity to work for a really sought after establishment. They won't open till Dec.16th. She already had 3 interviews and drug test. Her status says "Active".
I hope joieboy is right about job offers for Food and Bev. (after Sept 15) because I am feeling a little queasy at the moment since others have been called.
It seems like job offers right now are being given to only certain departments. Yes they don't want every department to come all at once. That would be funny,everyone fighting for parking space trying to get in. It would be a nightmare! They are going to need to hire a bunch of extra security personnel !!LOL
Anyways if I get a job offer, then it was meant to be. If not, I will move on with my next back up plan. I just can't wait to hear a ney or yey !! Hopefully it is a yey though!!! Good Luck everyone. It is not the end of the worldSmile

i applied for a F&B position as well and was told that they will start calling the 9th, my status has had "blank" since my drug test like 2 months ago

This is awesome news to hear that so many of the posters where have been offered positions. My status is Open and Blank so I'm crossing my fingers. I have a job now that I've been at for 4 years next month, and I think it's time to move on. I'm applying for Room Service Busser and took my drug test in early July. We'll have to wait and see if anything happens after Labor day. Good luck to all and Congratulations to those selected already.

Update: Job offer call came 30 minutes ago. So you 'blanks' out there, you should be good to go. So far everyone who's been 'blank' recently has received an offer.

/sigh I am unsure if management is going to be a different approach,however...I havent even crossed first base. My position status is active which was applied for in January, I have not had one interview,no call for drug test...nodda. Becoming very depressed.
