Tarantulas, lizards, and bats are some of their natural enemies. Here is a link to more information on bark scorpions: https://www.desertmuseum.org/kids/oz...rk%20Scorp.php.

No photos, please !!!! Geez, those things creep me out. The first time I found one in the house I hardly slept that night .... I was sure they were hiding in my bedroom somewhere. If I saw one in my room, I'd have to sell and move. So far I've only found them on tile surfaces; my bedrooms are carpeted.
I started to find them in the garage in May, then they started coming inside, at the front door and in the laundry room by the garage. I found gaps between the weatherstripping and doors. I added some of foam pieces of weather stripping to fill the gaps.
I had a treatment in early June and over the next few weeks found at least 30 scorpions dead or dying. Then nothing until last week when I killed 2 in the garage and 1 at the front door. Guess I need to plan on quarterly treatments. And I'll replace those foam strips.
My neighbor has found them in his bathtub and showers. I pour bleach down the drains monthly to combat that problem.
Good luck dealing with them !

All that is left of a scorpion is a stain on the wall... Right where my pillow lies!
his two outstretched arms and tail hanging down!

Saw one in May when the landscape crew was digging out a leaking irrigation line. Saw one last week in the house. Men were working on the floor and swept up a baby. Sun City Summerlin

I have seen three since spring. I live in the far northwest corner in a newly developed area. One was in the garage, one was in an upstairs hallway and another was in our WASHING MACHINE. That was definitely weird/not cool. Did I grab it with laundry and toss it in myself? Did it somehow crawl into the machine?
Either way, I'm from Wisconsin and it definitely creeped me out... I'm used to, like... Ladybugs.

Another one in the drive by the garage today. Time for a black light and some serious poison.

Here's a smart thing to do for prevention of all hard shelled creatures, including scorpions and those huge roaches/palm bugs. In the spring and fall spread some diatomaceous earth all around the perimeter of your home. Wear a mask! Even though people actually EAT the stuff, it's not good to breathe. You can dissolve the stuff in water and spray it too. It's not a poison so it doesn't hurt the furbabies even if they lick it off their paws. And one of the best things...it kills flies too!

Most of the feed stores carry it and you can always order it on line. I know Sunset Saddlery has it.
