They feel they aren't getting value for their money. It's a legitimate gripe, I think. But it's not going to change the resort fees.

I agree on both points. Some people get no value and resort fees are here to stay.

They will be better advertised since they are mandatory.

Caesars did their homework before giving up their differentiator of not charging them. They determined that they'll make more money overall, including the customers they lose on "moral principal", by charging versus not. It is actually a spreading practice across the country which will make its way to be visually available before you purchase if it isn't that way already.

Yea, I did that. I went to Cancun Instead to an all inclusive and the total price was very sweet with no fees.

You skipped out on vacationing in Vegas solely because of resort fees?

On principle yes. I figure that if I am going to gamble my odds are already stacked against me. Why add insult to injury when checking out and paying the house ounce more?

I've noticed that a lot of strip hotel deals lately offer deals like "as low as $49 a night plus $25 resort credit." Is it possible some are realizing that resort fees are forcing people to look elsewhere?

Airlines are Charing for baggage too....are you gonna stop flying?

This whole thing reminds me of when the no smoking bans were taking effect. People said it would kill all of the nightclubs...didn't happen.

They said states offering CCW's would see gunfights in the streets...it'll be the wild West....didn't happen.

They said Obamacare was going to give everyone free heath care.....ain't happening!

When will people learn? .....won't happen!
