Anyone eaten at Capo's on west Sahara? Their website ad is hilarious. Just wondered about the food. The atmosphere looks pretty good. Any comments appreciated. Thanks.

Then entrance is cool, you do a speak-easy style entrance. Once inside it is VERY dark. In fact the menu's come with an LED flashlight and you will need it to read. There is a Sinatra style singer that doesn't get in your face, so that's good. The food? I had a chicken parm that was terrible. They actually charged you extra for pasta, which was overcooked. My date had a chicken dish which I can't recall the name, but it had artichokes and pasta which was very good. Salads were good as were the soup. Overall, it's ok. Just be prepared for DARK!

I agree with clutch. The entrance and atmosphere is cool. I went to the one off of Flamingo (?) before it closed. The food there was good but we were not impressed with the food at the Sahara location.

I think the one that closed was on Tropicana. I went to that one twice, loved the food and the atmosphere, but as a previous poster mentioned, expect dark. The flashlights to read the menu were a nice touch, I thought, as was "The Godfather" showing on the TV at the bar. If the one on Sahara has the same features, I'd recommend it.

Sadly, they were pretty awesome at the Flamingo location years ago. High priced, but decent food and great atmosphere to bring guests to, as well as business partners.

I see they do a lot of coupons too now. I last ate there 5 years ago, but have been told its gone downhill. When an "established" place needs groupon or coupons, its not a good sign.
