oh jeebus....

A private establishment has the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason (Except in instances of discrimination)

Trespassing isn't a law where you guys come from? Interesting.

If you sit down at the bar and get smashed ass drunk, you don't think the "private business" has the right to throw you out?

Restaurants are private businesses, also must follow the civil rights act of 1964. The Federal Civil Rights Act guarantees all people the right to "full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, and accommodations of any place of public accommodation, without discrimination or segregation on the ground of race, color, religion, or national origin."

There are also stipulations that cover things like pregnant women, assistance animals, your uncle leo with the lazy eye (Can you tell I'm not taking this seriously) yada yada yada.... However, none of the reasons is a gun. Just like 7-11 can throw refuse service to you for "No shoes, no shirt, no service. An establishment can do the same to you for having a gun. IF you refuse to leave, then they call the cops for trespassing.

I'm done with this thread.

IIRC from what I've heard about NV law, a property owner (casinos are no different from any other), can decide he doesn't want guns on their property. But this is no legal bearing (it's not illegal to violate their wishes.) If the casino finds out you're carrying a gun (you flash or something), and they don't want you there, they can tell you to leave. Only if, at that point, you refuse to leave, are you legally trespassing.

But it's definitely a don't ask, don't tell situation. If they don't know your carrying, it isn't a problem.
