Live fish in tanks at the Asian markets, including the least expensive lobster in town. Amazing bread, butter and chocolates at the Russian market on Jones.
Actually, for five day trips, that is all that is needed.

I would also add 99 Ranch in Chinatown.

99 Ranch is small and overpriced. 168 Market and SF Market are much better. SF market is located in an old Albertson's -- better produce. But 168 still has the best fish.

We don't get any spanish food store flyers where we live. We used to get ads for the Liborio market way over on Lamb, but that place is now closed.
Wouldn't you find it difficult to converse with the cashier if you are the only one speaking english? Or do they understand it a wee bit?

I still intend to make it down to Spring mountain some day to get cheaper brown rice in bulk, if they have it. Stores charge too much for that too, and Costco only has the sticky brown rice in bulk. I like the jasmine brown rice.

There were two Liborios on Lamb, now there's only the one on Lamb and Washington. I go there regularly because they have one of the better tortillerias.

The register clerks speak English quite well. The other shoppers? Not so much. You will feel like you've left the country. But that's a bonus, in my opinion. I like foreign travel.

Rice is best purchased at International Marketplace. There's about 1,000 sq.ft. of different rice varieties at the front near the registers.

I haven't seen the grocery delivery services mentioned. It's pretty darned nice and easy to order your food and liquor and have it brought right into your place and dropped on the kitchen counter. The big stores have refrigerated trucks that deliver free on your schedule if you buy more than (about) $100 of groceries.
