@Mantova, I've been to the club as a guest but I'm not a member. I think the rates are about $160.00 a month and I think about 2k to join. I've been to a few parties there and had a nice time. The food was good. It's a nice place, great pool, beach and gym. They have several socials and mixers too. It's a great place to meet people.

How is Mantova doing? Those are so nice. Is the HOA doing well?

I ran across this article in stock market review.com This expert feels that Lake Las Vegas has now become stable. The link for the entire article is below.

Opportunity for Growth. One of the huge advantages of buying foreclosures in this city is the opportunity for future growth. Lake Las Vegas, one of the newer developments with foreclosures in the area has recently been granted permission to commence working on a new subdivision. This is a good sign that the neighborhood as a whole is stable

LLVResident...
Thank you for the info.
Mantova is great.....HOA looks good. I really like it alot but am not sure why sales seem to be very slow. Prices are basically 20 cents on the dollar from original purchase prices. But then I guess that is fairly common in LLV.
Looking forward to spring and the new life in the Village.

I saw about 60 workers in/out of the casino this week. The new build out and modifications have begun!!!! The entire building has to be re-wired and the kitchen replaced.

Barring any unforeseen issues, the casino is to open on/by Memorial Day weekend!!! I've been watching for any press releases or media announcements but none so far. I know that all of the licenses are public record. I'm surprised it hasn't made to the media. I did hear that the new operator will be making a press release any day now.

I'm also hearing that since the Ravella Hotel opened, the village business owners have all noticed increase in revenue already! Just imagine how things will change once the golf courses and the casino get re-opened. A big thanks for alot of these changes at Lake Las Vegas is Julie the commerical real estate broker. She has made such a difference and a big thanks to her!!!!!!

There have been appx 60 workers in/out of the casino this week making repairs to the wiring and making modification for the new casino operator. A press release should be out any day now. It's so exciting seeing the activity in the casino!!!!!! Still planned to open in May.

The business owners in the village are all reporting increased traffic and revenues immediately after the Dolce Ravella opened. Can you imagine how great things will be once the casion and the golf courses reopen?

I'm still hearing confirmed rumors of interested parties for the golf courses. The litigation with the city is continuing, but getting closer to a resolution. Hopefully, all will be wrapped up soon.

A big thanks to Julie, the Commerical Real Estate Broker for all of her dedicated work in getting things turned around in Lake Las Vegas!!!!

That is wonderful news for Lake Las Vegas, as well as for the many workers that will find new jobs as part of this business revival. The Las Vegas Strip is one-of-a-kind, but the City needs the kind of diversity and rural getaway that Lake Las Vegas provides. Keep the good news coming!

Went out there this past Monday and walked around the complex, not much going on but that was expected given it was a weekday. Did see the workers sprucing up the complex and a couple taking pictures over at the gazebo.

I then took a drive around Reflection Bay and looked closely at the condition of the fairways. While the grass has been mowed, there are a lot of dirt patches on many holes and obviously there will need to be a lot of work done to get the courses back in shape. I drove around the parking lot at the clubhouse and the area is quite overrun with weeds.

While I am confident that there will be new ownership of both courses soon, I estimate that it will take the rest of the year to get both properties back in playing shape and they will reopen by this time next year.

I hope they still do movies by the pool. I went with friends once about a year ago. It was nice to take the kids, it was nice for adults also.

Just some brief updates. The next hearing for the golf courses water issues is scheduled for March 31st. I checked with the city last week, no updates to give. I do know that there are at least 2 interested parties to purchase the courses.

The casino is still scheduled to re-open Memorial Day weekend. There are construction workers in/out of there right now. The new Coffee House should be opened by April 1st, as well as a few other new stores. I reported this in a separate post, the former Casamar Market will be taken over by a grocery store that will offer meats, produce and other grocery products. Their prices are to be competitive. This will be great for the residents and guests of LLV, Calico Ridge and Tuscany.

I'll post new updates as I receive them.

Well, Julie, the commercial real estate broker for Lake Las Vegas continues to work her magic in the village. So, I've mentioned that the new coffee house Las Cafe. It will be opened by/on April 1st. There will be a nice surprise to the customers when they go into the store. I'll keep that a surprise.

There is also a boutique doggie bakery & store called "PUP CAKES" slated to go into the village as well. What a great name! How cool is that? The Loews and the Ravella are totally dog friendly. In fact, the Ravella Spa even has doggie treatments. Lake Las Vegas Village is also dog friendly, this store will be fantastic!!!

I'm also told that the full-service grocery store is still in the works. There are 3 interested companies wanting to operate it. We'll see which one has the best fit for the village. The workers in the casino are still hustling to get it opened by Memorial Day weekend.

I'll continue to post updates!!!!!!
