Well I wrote in a previos thread that i was coming out to las vegas to look at a possible relocation and work and a little bit of r&r to clear my head.

well here is the low down on what happened.....

i stayed at the red rock casino and hotel. very nice hotel great view lots of food and booze, won a little bit of money on a quater machine. yes a bit away from the strip which was fine. my first time out to vegas and west for that matter.

the area around and near it appealed to me as to where i wanted to live i believe the bartender said that it was western and northwest part las vegas where on talking to more people seemed like the most pleasant part of town as far as living.

i went to look for work at some old jobs i worked for wich were 3 total. 2 seemed good the 3 rd totally lied to me and when i showed up they ddint take me seriously when i talked to them over the phone supposedly.

the other 2 that seemed good one was better than the other.
but at least even if its fulltime or partime i would have somekind of work.

i didnt get to see any condos/apartments i called a bunch of places, most were nice or left messages and some didnt take me seriously. i was in town to see some places but they just sent me a list via email wit pictures of places which helps but would have been great if i could have seen some places. so im still looking at some of them i guess i will have to fly out again in a month or 2 for a weekend to see somethings.

saw 2 shows those were fun. peoples attitudes were definitely an imnprovement from where i live so that was nice.

the area near the hotel was summerlin i think. in general how is that area near charleston rd and sahara ave(sorry if i mispronounced and names) i see alot of new buildings going up and nice little aprtment places again the people at the hotel said that is one of te better areas to lice so was wondering if any locales here would agree might help with the decision making process. its either las vegas or 3 towns in pennsylvania.

One thing about apartment complexes out here is that the managers and sales people dont really try to "sell" you on moving in there. Mostly, the additude is take it, or leave it. They have so many other people coming in to lock a unit down, they dont seem too interseted in returning phone calls.

I agree, the part of town you were in is one of the better areas to live. I'm pretty happy across town in Henderson, but I think if I moved, I would consider living out that way.

Drop me a DM before your next trip. I will at least send you the condos you might want to look at and some views on the areas.
