I'm suspecting you're referring to the roofline visible in the foreground. What I can't tell is if it's a structure still standing or not (based on Google street).

Very good, you're almost there! The structure still stands. I posted several photos of it, although from a lower viewpoint.

Later she hit Washington DC.

She toured in Vaudeville playing herself. While touring in England she was hit by eggs thrown from the audience.

She came back to visit Independence in 1906 and again in 1908, shortly before giving up the ghost at Leavenworth, Kansas, in 1911.



Who is she?

She was a hotel manager in three different states.

Boxer John L. Sullivan is reported to have run when she came into his business.

Graduated from what is now University of Central Missouri.

Buried in Belton, Missouri, although her final residence was in Arkansas.

Well I guess if you were up that high the distance between the church and the BnB looks closer on film than in reality Distortion makes it look right across Lex from the church
