Almost there! Go south to the next major street, then a bit east. It sits on the north side of the street.

Hmmm well stumped as usual. The street south would be Winner Rd, but I don't see a comparable building in the Englewood area? Seems to me there was something like a "Ravens" Furniture at one point? The store looks somewhat familiar but I can't fit the right number of letters into the sign. Elephino.

Edit: Ok I cheated...somewhat . . and looked in KC Polk's for a "Ravens" Furniture. Alas, no such luck. I probably was thinking of Rinker's Furniture, but I believe that was in a shopping center, not a standalone building. Blue Vue SC @ 47th and Blue Ridge Blvd (another now-dilapidated strip center . . . sigh . . . had an A&P that was new and nice at one time)

P.S. Taken from Independence, but most of the shot is in KC.

I remember from my dispatching days- along that section of 40 Highway the city limits are 200 feet south of the center line of 40 Highway. Only the NE corner of the Jones store was in Independence.

That looks like the boat blank built along Sterling at about 10th St.

I'm not sure about the occupants at the time of the photo, but wasn't this building used at one time as a redemption center for a certain green item?

Correct! For 50 extra points, can you name the builder?

If correct, that would have been on 23rd Street.

If you are speaking of this building...yes. This had also been a truck accessories shop at one point.
