I work in IT, in Jacksonville and have for 7 years. I can agree with their sentiment. It's a joke. See my post above.

You're saying for your type of work which doesn't make the article invalid. Let's reread together shall we? #9 among top cities for IT Jobs in 2012. It doesn't say what kind of IT jobs and isn't specifying, you are.

Funny how some people accept stats only when they conform with their opinions . They are the only ones with the facts and those who compile the stats are idiots.

you mean one who has researched the IT market in jville extensively as a possible relocation destination?

hey if you want to believe everything you read on the internet by a company who is promoting self-serving ideals, you're more than welcome.

yes but they're implying that jville is a hot market for decent IT jobs, not the level 1 ones that pay a pittance. no one would want to specify that an area is a hotbed of crappy IT jobs, even if that's the reality.

I guess a lot of people (kyle, etc) think "IT" is a desktop support or level 1 helpdesk job. In that case, yea, Jax is the bomb... lol

Self serving seems like a great idea until as a staffing firm they're unable to find jobs for those who want to work with them, genius argument!

no, the genius is how you conveniently ignore my point. you'd rather just skim the surface instead of understanding. keep at it. you're doing great!
