Call them whatever you want if it makes you feel better but right now these two SUVs are the items people are most interested in. Once again they've won nearly every accolade this year.

Supply cannot still meet the level of demand on both of these vehicles.

and anyone that bought anything else at this time is kicking themselves for not going with the Palisade or the Telluride.

There are 7 midsize SUV's that sell in higher volumes than the Telluride or Palisade and there are hundreds of Tellurides/Palisades sitting on dealer lots right now. There are 850 new Tellurides and Palisades for sale on autotrader.com within 300 miles of my zip code. Seems like supply is higher than demand to me....

ahhhh. initial quality or initial impression accolades. yeah, those are important. and who are these people who are interested in slow crossovers that get crappy gas mileage? people who hate driving? if supply can't meet demand, and they are selling 1/6th as many as toyota highlanders, that doesn't bode well for their production skills. I'm sure people who bought a toyota will be kicking themselves when they trade in their toyota in 10 years and it still has actual value, whereas the kia or hyundai will be worth peanuts. seriously, did your dad design this vehicle? Kia and Hyundai literally lose half their value after 3 years. That's why I laughed when you said that people are paying over MSRP. Do you know the level of stupidity that comes with making a decision that poor? Overpaying on a depreciating asset.

Yes, Kia Telluride and Hyundai Palisade are the benchmark competitors are now targeting as they took the market by surprise.

Here we go again with the weekly bumping of their own thread by Reston.....who continues to provide non-specific information and dodges questions about why he/she has such a strong vested interest in this.

Yeah, I mean who doesn't want to finish in 7th place and offer a woefully underpowered and fuel sucking powertrain that generates a large chunk of sales by cannabalizing their own products? I'm sure every OEM is rushing to take fuel efficiency, power and gears out of their powertrains to keep up. LOL.

Congrats Kia ...that participation trophy looks great on your mantle.

KIA TELLURIDE WINS “TRIPLE CROWN” OF PRESTIGIOUS AUTOMOTIVE AWARDS

First time ever that an SUV has won all three awards in one year.

Who cares?

Those auto awards do not always translate to market success and those are often done by people who don't know squat about cars to begin with. Vehicles such as the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, MB GLC, Volvo XC90 and Mazda CX-9 have won SUV of the Year awards in the past few years, too, and none of them are market leaders, either. (Most of them are cellar dwellers in their segment.)

And again, why do you care so much? You are constantly bumping your own thread over and over. Seems like you have some serious vested interest in keeping this discussion alive.

Well let's see this is the Hyundai and Kia for people who like talking about their vehicles and related topics.

Telluride.

I think these two vehicles will provide women with transportation for many years to come. They do everything a minivan does, albeit much worse. But they should be solid soccer mom van alternatives for at least 70k miles. That's about the time all the electronics will go kaput and the car will be out of warranty and worthless.
