When I see a Sonata, I see a faker/wannabe CLS class. It's still a good looking car, though.

However not a fan of the Optima, even though it looks somewhat original to me.

The Sonata hybrid though:

BTW it looks like the Korean fanbois just made their first appearance after the whole false fuel economy disaster.

All I can say is hooray for the Hyundai Sonata. One of the very few remaining two door coupes on the market today. Thumbs up!

I'm fairly certain Hyundai's have been discussed here well before this thread. The fuel economy deal has largely blown over as people are quick to forget particularly when the issue is this negligible.

I suggest you follow your advice considering most resources would disagree with you, JD Power and Consumer Reports show foreign automakers still produce higher quality cars than domestic imports although domestic manufacturers have made strides in recent years. And it doesn't really matter anyway considering I've owned American vehicles and I've had poor experiences with them so you aren't going to convince me otherwise. You can have your Buick and Cadillac, I'll take a Toyota and Lexus over them any day.

It doesn't matter if they ultimately go over 200K if you are having to service it 5 times as much as a foreign car just to get it there. And the engineering is not the same. The ride quality is not the same. Things that come standard on foreign cars are upgrades on American cars etc
