Agreed. It kind of reminds me of Westhaven in Franklin (TN), but not quite as walkable. Providence would IMHO be the perfect live, work, play if there were a grocery within walking distance. Ideally, the Publix would have been built closer to the houses there.

Silver Airways has begun daily flight to Orlando.
Frontier begins service in a few weeks.
As with any airline service anywhere, use it or lose it.

A friend went to the Alabama game with Louisville a couple of weeks ago. He doesn't hesitate to go out of town to save a couple of bucks (I don't understand that reasoning, but ....). His itinerary for himself and his wife was to drive to Nashville, then get on a flight for himself and his wife to Orlando ... through O'Hare! I can't imagine going to all that trouble, and really the risk involved, of driving that far. People do funny things.

I knew there was something planned for that area, but didn't realize there was a website. Thanks for the info. Looks like they'll have a Chick-fil-A.

The Winchester Rd area has really built up in the past few years, pretty much all the way to Buckhorn High School. Traffic can be an issue at times.

I suppose Publix didn't want to build a store that blended in with the required architecture of Providence, so they located just outside. It's not like they won't ... the one at Twickenham Square certainly meets their specs (you barely know it's there just by sight).

Will it be in Huntsville or outside the city? I have a friend who lives very near there, and he's just outside the city, but has a Huntsville city ZIP code and address.

I looked at Frontier to MCO, but right now the schedule is terrible...flights only like every other day. Nothing worked for me so I passed on them. Maybe they will expand their schedule offerings in the future.
