we usually catch alot of Drum,Specks and the occasional red/croaker...

plus there's a nice a bar there..pretty huge..but ive been in there..it seems like a lot of locals and i'd hate to be the target of them lol

ive been there a few times also..good fishing but can get crowded...

also the piers at baytown nature park are good for reds but the piers are small so its best to be the 1st one there..6am is when the park opens..$3 or $4 charge per car..also has a nice park for kids to play right behind the peers..bathrooms ..nice park..

La Porte, Baytown, Ship Channel area, no thanks. I thought they had advsories telling people they shouldn't eat anything that comes out of those waters.
