My partner and I got the "buy the place or move out" notice and our time in this place grows short. Sadly, our new place doesn't include a washer and dryer but the hookups are there so we can get our own appliances but I've never bought stackable W&D and was wondering if the assembled had any recommendations?

Is buying used a decent option or too much of a crapshoot? I can't tell from looking at an appliance whether it's a lemon, and most used appliance stores (much less private parties) won't fire them up for you.

Any suggestions? Please keep them anatomically possible, ok?

TIA!

You can have an all-in-one model where the units are already stacked or you can purchase units that can be stacked. If you stack them, check to see which kit to use to stack them.

I wouldn't buy a used washer. Too much chance it's been sitting around with water inside and has gotten really nasty with mold.

We ended up buying a matched set of Samsung steamer models. They'll be delivered and installed on Monday. Spent enough effin money for them.

Ghod, I hate moving.
