I have a friend who leased a black 2012 Honda Accord 2 door coupe with leather. I was thinking, how good and reliable do you people here consider that car. I am thinking about maybe getting it.
Also , besides cost, what should I put in condideration in choosing leather or not?

If you are happy with how it looks then its a decently reliable car. In considering leather it will go to personal preferences. I will not own a car without leather but I know plenty of people who could care less and save a few bucks.

Honda has a great reputation for reliability. I say this as a guy who is on his second Honda Accord.
You are on your own for choosing leather or not.
I agree with the poster on holding out for the 2013 to come out to get a better deal.
The 2012 came out in 2008. Wait for the 2013 so that you'll have the current body style for the next 5 years.
The four cylinder is getting direct fuel injection and a CVT for the automatic option, so it should get a little better fuel economy.
Not that the current 4-cyl with 5-speed auto is bad, but those two features combined should make a good thing a little bit better. CVTs can get spectacular mileage because they're able to keep the revs very low in normal driving conditions.
