If you were in the market for a new family car and had to choose between these two for basically the same amount, which one would you choose and why. Assuming the Camry SE is a 4 cyl with the sunroof package and auto tranny for $22,800 (2.9% financing) and the Accord EX is a 4 cyl with auto tranny for $22,500 (0.9% finanacing).

My opinion, this is not even close, the Camry wins hands down....

Your thoughts...

Neither on of those vehicles interest me what-so-ever. For that amout of money there are so many better choices out there but...to stay on topic...

The Toyo is prob the better pick between those two.

Are you in the market? Why just those 2 vehicles?

I just think there are so many choices in that price range to be limiting yourself to just two. It seems the Accord and the Camry are the default choice among many buyers but if you do some due dilligence you my something even better. There competitors are making car just as good ( most of them IMO are better) and they have caught up with them in the reliable department.

But in the end we all know the wife has to be happy

Why do people constantly feel the need to push their own agendas? The OP asked for advise on the two cars, not for people to try to "open his eyes".

Anyway, the Camry was just redesigned, but I tend to stay away from gen 1 and 2 redesigns because a lot of times that is where you find the flaws. However, even though people will disagree, Toyota usually does not have that problem, with the exception of the gas pedal issue of a couple years back.

I prefer the Camry over the styling and it has more angles. I also think the driving experience is great. I test drove a new Camry over the weekend and comparing it to a Accord I test drove about 12 months ago, the Camry was so much more comfortable and felt more refined.

Well I do not have an agenda to push. I cleary said between those two that the Camry was a better choice. All I suggested was look around...
