Sharks got no breaks on the rebounds Niemi gave up. The puck constantly evaded them.

Default Flyers - Canadiens Game One

Flyers crush Canadiens 6 - 0 and chase Halak from goal. Canadiens have no answers for :

Michael Leighton

Flyers power play

Flyers aggressive forecheck

Flyers skating speed

Flyers down low cycling

Flyers penalty killing

This all translates into the worst first game loss in a best of 7 series for the Canadiens since 1919.

GO FLYERS

Caps did the same thing, remember what happened next?

Habs had a horrible game, no doubt. No discipline from Gomez, terrible defense and yes Halak looked human.

Montreal won game one 3 - 2 and lost game two 6 - 5....even in losing they still scored 5 goals and they were close, competitive games....they wern't shut out. I'm sorry but the Habs looked completely discomboobulated tonight against the aggressive Flyer forecheck which turned into frustration and dumb penalties. If they don't make adjustments and bounce back and look better in game two this could get ugly quick for Monteal.

All Briere does is score clutch goals including a power play goal tonight.....if that makes him an idiot then so be it....far better that hes on my team and scoring and we're advancing in the playoffs as opposed to wondering why we couldn't get out of the first round against the choke-King Bruins ?

I'm talking game 3, Caps win 6-1 chasing Halak out replaced by Price. Price starts game 4 but Caps win again to make it 3-1. Martin senses Halak has mojo back and takes a gamble by starting him in Game 5 which Habs win 2-1 despite 58 shots by Caps.

Just remember, your Flyers looked the same against the Bruins early on in that series so just like the saying goes "it ain't over til it's over" so let's not put the Flyers in the Final yet.

WTF are you talking about ? The first two games of that series were very close. The Flyers were not dominated and shut down in blow out fashion in any of their games against Boston. What the hell have you been watching, besides golf strokes and Craps players' tee times ?
