Location is really the only good part. Right in Chinatown within walking distance of Metro stations, easy to get to as well by car; although, it gets expensive to park a car so I've taken Metro all the time except the first time I went there for a Caps game.
I always wanted to drive up to see a Flyers game but never got a chance, only a Phillies-Orioles game a few years ago.
Cheaper Ticket proces would be great. With the economy in the shape that it is in, not every fan is going to be able to go to mulitple games a year. I don't know if this is an issue with other arenas but free parking would be great as well.
They experimented with that several years back. It was a big flop as was the idea.
I say just leave hockey alone, its perfect (minus some penalties ie instigator rule). The UC has perfect seats, not too expensive, etc.
I think they need to watch the prices. In 2003 I lived near the UC and tickets in the lower bowl were $75. Tough for average joe to bring a kid to at that price. Bigger ice sheet might help.
for TV coverage they should have one commentator from each team. image the fun those two (and therefore the viewers) would have during a bruins/leafs game

How about a Calgary-Edmonton game, and get some of the fans involved as well.
go back to divisional playoffs. More hitting. Get a team back in Quebec.
Quebec doesn't have a team? Geez, any city in Canada over 300,000 should have an NHL team; that's a travesty.
