The Panthers may be hot now but they won't be during the playoffs. however what's with the Canadiens and Rangers slipping??!! I am loving it Buffalo is going to steal 2nd in our division. Carolina and Pittsburgh are really going to have to work in order to make the playoffs and hows this? A 4 WAY TIE for 5th in the Eastern Conference.
Alright, good night for Canes fans. We win 6-2 on Long Island and both Buffalo and Florida lose courtsey of Philadelphia and Chicago. Although we didn't play great, we took care of business in the 1st and enough for us to pull it out. We've now won 4 straight on the road, but we need to take care of business at home as well. We'll have a good oppurtunity to do that tommorow night against Tampa.
A rare home loss by my Caps to Colorado 4-1, difference was the Caps only had 16 shots on goal through 2 periods which they normally get through the first period.
They just looked flat, maybe looking forward to Sunday's game against the Pens.
