This season will be a bust but I'm glad the games are back. Detroit rolled over for St. Louis yesterday. Disgusting and I hope not a harbinger of things to come.
Hope to make it out to a few Yotes games but finances may dictate otherwise.
48 games overall and about 20 of those 48 against what is probably the toughest division in hockey (Atlantic) I'm not expecting much from the Islanders this year. They usually start slow and pick things up around mid January and make a late run. With the truncated schedule you have to start fast like the Penguins and Blackhawks have done. If we lose to the Lighting tomorrow at home I'm gonna wave the white flag on this season.
Slow start for the Caps but got their first win against Sabres on Sunday night and are playing pretty well against Sens tonight.
