This time its Toews who scores in OT for the Hawks! Chance to close out on Sunday.

The Blues are unbelievable. First, they blow a sure Presidents trophy. Now, they go from a commanding 2-0 lead to being eliminated on Sunday if they lose.

Really? As though playing a great team like the Hawks has nothing to do with it.

Toews goes backhand on breakaway to win in OT Video - NHL VideoCenter - Chicago Blackhawks

Now that was amazing, now was Duncan Keith aware that Toews was coming off the bench and Keith knew where he was so he knew to clear the puck straight up, then at such speed to pull off that backhand simply great!

They were up 2-0. Great team or not, there's no excuse to lose a series after being up 2-0.

The Wild just got totally jobbed by the refs in a game against the Avs. They looked the other way on penalties all game and even then the Wild fought back and took a 3-2 lead. Instant replay shows the Avs 2ft offsides on a goal with a ref looking right at the line. Charlie Coyle gets absolutely mugged on his way to scoring an empty netter to put it away for the wild. No whistle.

Avs tie the game, win in OT. Total BS.

After the whole thing with Cooke, Minny isn't getting the benefit of the doubt on anything.

Agree. They really weren't getting the calls before hand either.

I agree, but I put more blame on Yeo. That last power play was completely unacceptable. It seemed as though the Wild were just trying to run out the clock. A goal in that situation ends the game. After the theatrics of game 1 there is absolutely no excuse to even attempt to win the game by a single goal when you know Roy is going to pull the goalie with 2:30+ minutes left.

But to get back to the garbage reffing. The penalty on Coyle when that McLeod character was skating around charging everything in his path, and the coincidental minors on Koivu and Landeskog, when Landeskog held Koivu's stick then proceeded to punch him in the back of the head, where some real head scratchers.
