Anybody know who the PbP announcers is tonight on the Caps-Rangers game on Versus? They never identify him, but he is very good. Calls the game in complete, syntactically correct sentences, and says the names of the playes clearly. A-la Danny Gallivan, the greatest ever. He also did the first two Red Wing-Coyotes games.

If you're watching on Versus, that would be Mike Emrick on PbP and former goalie Darren Pang on color.
Need a drink after watching the Caps proving their futility againnnnnnn
Is there anyone who can predict Eastern conf. taking the cup? I think the western conference semi finals are going to be the toughest games. East just can't hang.
Well it's been a great 24-hours of comebacks which makes this time of year so great
First of all, my apologies for not acknowledging the great comeback of the Sharks last night against the Kings. I got caught up in Randy's comment but it was a fantastic game to see, the 5 goals in the second was a franchise record so good job Sharks.
Now the Caps down 3-0 to the Rangers and looking hard at a tied series 2-2 get a gift from the Rangers and Jason Chimera gives the win to the Caps making that series 3-1.
As I type, Wings just tied Coyotes 2-2 so the sweep is possible. Last I saw Ducks were big over Predators 6-3 and Lightning are in big trouble after James Neal throws the puck from an sharp angle into the net over a screened Dwayne Roloson to give the Pens the win.
Let's go Red Wings, let's go! Not only is this their 20th consecutive play-off appearence, the best in any sport, but this was also their 57 consecutive play-off game of 4 goals or more.
15 years ago Detroit knocked Winnipeg out of the play-offs in Round 1, was the last game the Jets played in Canada before moving the franchise to Phoenix. So is tonight's game a deja vu? Are the Coyotes going back to Canada? Bettman says no, but we'll see.
