Go Canuckle heads!...Two down and fourteen to go.
I gotta feel a bit sorry for Chicago and their depleted manpower, but they sure gave a good effort tonight.

Good call on that one. 5-1, but close enough.

I can't wait to watch Montreal/Boston game 2. I think the Canadiens have become my favorite team to watch in the playoffs. They play what is probably the most frightening looking (but surprisingly effective) game I've ever seen. It's like watching a train derail for 60 minutes, only to realize at the end that it was on the tracks and under control the whole time.

That's how I became a hockey fan back in the 80s. Nothing like the NHL Playoffs!

Looking good for both #1's so far. Caps change of style from offense to defense has stifled Rangers and Ovechkin is starting to let the other players use their strengths so it looks good so far.

Canucks have been dominant, Sedins are just playing their game and unfortunately Blackhawks don't have an answer but scene now shifts to United Center and the best part being the singing of the national anthem

Predators shot themselves in the foot last night at Anaheim and Ducks took full advantage as their big guns let loose.

Was surprised how flat the Pens were against Bolts last night, just no energy from anyone and Fleury gave up too many bad rebounds.

The action continues...............

If the Flyers lose again tonight, look for the Wells Fargo Center get torched. Fans are ticked, and the team is clueless.

Sitting here watching the yawnfest that is Wings/Coyotes game 2. Datsyuk has been a beast in this game, Coyotes have just not played smart taking dumb penalties and Wings have taken full advantage.

Any doubt that hockey players are not the toughest players in the world need to check their egos as they haven't seen Franzen's face after falling into the boards in the 1st, getting 22 stitches and saying no to wearing a visor the rest of the game.

I wanna see the Canuks and the Habs in the final. Great for Canadians but bad for hockey really because we lose a lot of American interest.

Good thing the Sabres got as many questionable calls as the Flyers did, then.

Well, Sunday's games are in the book:

Rangers picked up the physical presence and got a late garbage goal by Brandon Dubinsky to hold off the Caps 3-2 making that series 2-1. Series resumes on Wednesday.

Preds won 5-4 over the Ducks who were shorthanded with Bobby Ryan suspended for 2 games. Nashville now leads that series 2-1.

Late game had Canucks taking a commanding 3-0 lead over the Blackhawks by winning the game 3-2. Chicago needs to find some scoring quickly or their season will be over in 4 games.

Lots of action tomorrow night.
